You transition from intensity levels that are low-moderate to high intensity intervals. You might think that a low intensity for 30-45 minutes would burn more fat than a 15 minute OR LESS using HIIT. This is false, however, as a lot of the calories that are burnt so so when you leave the gym (When using HIIT).

In order to lose weight, 15 minutes may seem too good to be true, but it is not. It is necessary to understand that this is not just a walk in the park. This is demanding, but very rewarding and saves time. HIIT will help your metabolism so that you burn fat later in the day. You will be burning fat if the calories consumed are less than those you burn. By choosing HIIT, you will expend more calories.

Always, make sure to warm up for 3-5 minutes before you start. Then you will be able to start your intervals.

When you’re beginning start at a moderate pace and go for 30 seconds (approx 50% of maximum effort) and after the 30 seconds go as hard as you possibly can for another 30 seconds. Then just repeat.

For your first time complete 5-8 intervals. You will find it difficult until you increase your fitness level. Once you have finished, cool down for 3-5 minutes. That’s all you have to do. You will have done only 5-8 minutes of working sets, and be on your way to losing some serious fat.

If you don’t use and exercise machine, just apply the same idea. Simply swim, jump, run, or anything you feel like, at the proposed intervals mentioned.
